A Breaky for Beyonce

Beyonce has confirmed, in USA Today, that she is taking a 6-month break from her career. The break will come after the Grammys, a few photo shoots and the South American leg of her "I Am" tour. She tells USA Today:

“It’s definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries,” says Beyoncé, 28. “I’d like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again.”

Beyonce even wrote out a "to-do" list of what she plans to do with herself over the break:

"The to-do list consists of “random things". I want to go to restaurants, maybe take a class, see some movies and Broadway shows.” (Beyoncé says she would love to do a stage musical, eventually.) She’s also keen to spend more time with her 5-year-old nephew, Daniel, whose mom is Beyoncé’s younger sister, Solange, 23. “He’s a wonderful kid, amazing, so smart. And I spoil him, so it’s a lot of work. He’s a 24-hour job.”

I guess she FORGOT to say "get knocked up".

Sony has been yanking this video off the Net left, right and center. Apparently it was supposed to debut tonight but somehow leaked. Someone is getting fireddddd. The Sophie Muller-directed music video is for “Soldier of Love,” the lead single from Sade's upcoming album of the same title.

Canadian Beat Up by Lloyd Banks

Canada is in hip-hop news...yaaaay. For all the wrong reasons...boooo. It seems that G-Unit's LLoyd Banks is in police custody in Kitchener, ON for assault and robbery charges after an incident that occurred Friday night. Sergeant Brag Finucan of the Waterloo Regional Police's Criminal Investigations branch spoke with MTV and stated that Banks, real name Christoper Lloyd, had a verbal dispute with a promoter over receiving dividends for the performance along with a fee for his appearance.

According to reports, Banks and three other men assaulted road manager Chris Hines of Chris Hine/ Ultimate Entertainment and brutalized him to the point where he was hospitalized. Hines suffered some lacerations, although minor, along with a bruised eye and possible head trauma. Peep the video to hear the victim, Chris Hines, speaking on the incident.

Tyra Banks Ready For Mommyhood?

Word on the street is that Tyra and her man, 52-year-old businessman John Uthendahl, are looking to start a family. According to the NY Post:

As for 52-year-old Utendahl, whose relationship with Banks has sparked marriage rumors, another source said that he and the former model are planning on starting a family. “A big reason why she left ‘The Tyra Show’ was because she wants to be a mom,” our source said. “They’ve been house-hunting for a place with a nursery in downtown Manhattan and in Brooklyn.” Banks’ rep had no comment.

Tyra as a mom....can you see it? Hmmmm I dunno....

From the front it looks like Miley Cyrus is dressed like she typically does - a lil skanky balanced with "I GUESS it's okay for a 17-year-old"....


From the back? $2-dollar hoe. *sigh*. Why Miley? Why? Why did you get into a fight with your cat/lawn mower/ paper shredder? This is a horrible outfit. Not to mention even more horrible considering a 17-year-old is rocking it. I guess Miley thinks because she walked away from Disney, anything goes. I predict Miley Cyrus to be the Hot Mess of 2010 (with Frankie and Neffie still coming in a close 2nd).
