Breezy & Bow Wow Crash Drake's Party?

If the NY Post got its story right then Bow Wow and Chris Brown fall further down the respect ladder than before. According to the NY Post the who came, uninvited, to Drake's listening party on Wed and crashed the event:

Chris Brown and rapper Bow Wow were unwelcome Wednesday night. First, the duo crashed the listening party to which they weren't invited for Drake's new album at MSR studios hosted by the Cash Money crew. Next, Brown and Bow Wow popped up at Meatpacking club SL -- but were turned away by security. "They showed up with a huge entourage all trying to get in, but they were totally denied at the door," a spy tells Page Six. The rejected posse finally found refuge at Greenhouse, where they partied with Brandy and her brother Ray J into the wee hours.

Hip-Hop Honors: The Ladies

The Hip-Hop Honors went down last night in NYC and the ladies were out in full force. Casual fab was the choice of outfits for the night. Few observations: 1) Taraji P. Henson can do no wrong in my eyes. She's adorable. 2) I'm kinda feelin this hair on Brandy. Flirty and cute. 3) Keri Hilson must be gunning for a "most fashionable" title cause this outfit is the IT! Love love love the chains and the sexy top paired with the casual slacks.

Hip-Hop Honors: The Fellas

The Dirty South fellas were in full attendance at VH1's Hip-Hop honors last night in NYC. However, a few important Dirty South faces were visibly missing. Ludacris, Plies, Jezzy all had prior commitments. But the show must go on.
A few observations about the photos below: 1) How the hell Mystikal been outta jail FIVE months and already knocked someone up? 2) See how Juvenile is holding out his hands? That's his "What? I'm innocent! I didn't bite Drake's album cover" look. If you haven't heard, Juvenile's new album cover looks a lil too similar to "Thank Me Later". 3) That last guy, boys and girls under 20 is Bone Crusher. Google it.

Lil Kim Fires Shots at Nicki Minaj

Last night Lil Kim performed at the Filmore in NYC where she brought out her "friend" Ray J and his sister Brandy. While on stage Ray J fired a shot at rapper Nicki Minaj, who a few people believe slightly bites Kim's style. Ray J said something along the lines of "it's a lot of people biting her style and shit...I ain't saying no names, but you know who..." The crowd went nuts and Kim followed up by saying "We love her! We just want them to pay homage, so we could all rock together. It’s all about respect. You respect me, I respect you. If you don’t respect me then fuck you.” With so few females in the rap game shouldn't we be getting along? I guess the days of Queen Latifah's "U.N.I.T.Y" are truly over.

Kelly Rowland Turns Up The Glam!

Kelly Rowland sure had a busy last night in NYC and looked absolutely fab doing it. I don't really remember seeing Kelly look this good recently! She hit up the M.A.C. Viva Glam's Inspiration Gala, where she rocked a white number on stage and then changed into a gold dress. She looked great! That same day, Kelly made an appearance at the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, which honored The Dirty South movement. For the red carpet she chose a tribal inspired number. While for the event, she rocked a blue dress with a very plunging front. Lovely! Which look is your fav?

Drake Speaks on Album Leak

If you haven't heard already Drake's debut album "Thank Me Later" sprung a leak yesterday. The rapper took to Twitter to say that he'd be releasing free music for a long time and he hopes that people make his album the soundtrack to their summer. He held a listening session that evening and spoke with LifeFiles regarding to leak. In the video he says he stands by the project and is confident in what he's come up with for his debut. All I know is my Canadians (especially Toronto folk) better go out and buy the hardcopy on June 15 since we stay screaming how much Drake has done for the city. Time to return the favour. Salute.

I Present: Blackout

Now that it's over between Kelis and Nas, the rapper had to find a creative way to cover up his tattoo of his ex-wife. So instead of getting it removed or totally covered with something else (I'm sure they have ways of doing that), he just blacked out her face. Yup, a big black blob covering Kelis's face. Nas claims it's lion's head atop her body. *blank stare* I hope this is the first phase of covering it up. SMH!!!

Could Halle Berry's daughter Nahla be any cuter?? The actress and her cutie were spotted at a horsey farm recently where Nahla looked thrilled to ride a horse and even had a little buddy to ride with. Too adorable!!!!
