Tila's Lawyers Release Statement

Blogger Necole Bitchie of NecoleBitchie.com was the first to post this statment from Tila Tequila's lawyers regarding the incident with Shawne Marriman.

Shawne Merriman and his advisors have decided that the best defense is a good offense, attacking Tila Tequila in the press with a lot of calculated spin to cover up his illegal and indefensible actions.

Fortunately, we as a society will not tolerate a 6′4″, 270 pound all-pro NFL linebacker physically assaulting a young lady who is 4′11″ and 93 pounds. It is never justifiable to brutally assault, choke, strike and imprison a woman.

Once the truth is fully revealed, Mr. Merriman’s fantastic story of how he was trying to keep Ms. Tequila safe will be completely discredited.

No one, especially a woman, should ever have to endure what Mr. Merriman did to Tila Tequila.

A picture is worth a thousand words...but really we're kinda speechless with this one. While supporting the OMG Girlz, Toya (Lil Wayne's ex-wife) ran into Nivea (Wayne's future baby momma) and the 2 decided to...pose for photos together? Strange...but true and awkward to say the least.


Toya was also showing off her new man, James Hardy, who viewers recently saw her go a blind date with on Tiny and Toya. Nice to see they're still dating.

Heartbeats by Lady GaGa

Over the weekend we posted some photos of GaGa with Dr. Dre @ an electronics conference in Germany. Well, that's because GaGa is actually teaming up with the producer and releasing her own headphones called Heartbeats. The headphones will come in three designs (chrome, all black and jewel-shape earpiece) and is going to be available starting from October 2009. GaGa released this honest statement regarding her decision to release the product.
"In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things; I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion,” Lady Gaga said. “Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being, with one additional vow: that sound matters. Wear Heartbeats, love each other, and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music.”
Her press release writers are gooooood. We're just that's what you confess in the deepest hour of the night, GaGa.

Update: Shawne Merrimam & Tila Tequila Incident

According to CNN, deputies didn’t see any physical injuries on Nguyen [Tila's last name], but she asked to be transported to a local hospital, sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said. Nguyen’s condition was not immediately known.

Merriman’s attorney, Todd Macaluso, told reporters that Nguyen was “extremely intoxicated and inebriated” and that the player tried to make arrangements for her to leave the house.

“At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her. At no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will,” Macaluso said. “His intentions were nothing but good. … We’re very confident that this matter will be resolved without any charges being filed whatsoever.”

Meanwhile, Tila tweeted that there's no way she could be drunk considering that she's been allergic to alcohol for years.

Looks like this is about to get a lot uglier.
