We Will Never Forget....
8 years ago...our generation was altered by a single moment in history. You will always remember where you were and what you were doing when you found out that planes had flown into the World Trade Center in NYC. But the most important thing to remember is the innocent people who lost their lives that day. Never forget. Below are some photos of photos I took at the Ground Zero memorial when I was in New York City earlier this year.

Deborah Cox Returning to Broadway After 5 Years
Canadian R&B sweetheart, Deborah Cox, is returning to Broadway after five years. She will be playing the lead role in a Josephine Baker titled Josephine, based on the late legend's life. Here's how it's being reported:
JOSEPHINE, which producer Ken Waissman developed from scratch after being inspired by the legendary African-American ex-patriot, is planned for the 2010-2011 Broadway season.
The story of JOSEPHINE, which Mr. Waissman describes as a “coming-of-age tale,” is inspired by actual events, and takes place in Paris between 1939 and 1945: Josephine Baker is queen of the Paris music halls, involved in a liaison with Crown Prince Gustav VI of Sweden and secretly serving her adopted country in the French Resistance. Her heroic work during the war brings her the self-worth she so vainly sought in fame, money and the arms of royalty.

Jay-Z to Appear on Oprah: Sept. 24
Jay-Z appeared on New York's Hot 97 radio station yesterday and revealed that his interview with Winfrey will also air September 24 on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The two stars conversed last month at the rapper's old stomping grounds, Marcy Projects, and Jay-Z took Winfrey to his grandmother's old home in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn. Winfrey appeared smitten by Jay-Z's charm telling Gayle King during a radio interview that the two were now best friends.

Shawne Merriman and his advisors have decided that the best defense is a good offense, attacking Tila Tequila in the press with a lot of calculated spin to cover up his illegal and indefensible actions.
Fortunately, we as a society will not tolerate a 6′4″, 270 pound all-pro NFL linebacker physically assaulting a young lady who is 4′11″ and 93 pounds. It is never justifiable to brutally assault, choke, strike and imprison a woman.
Once the truth is fully revealed, Mr. Merriman’s fantastic story of how he was trying to keep Ms. Tequila safe will be completely discredited.
No one, especially a woman, should ever have to endure what Mr. Merriman did to Tila Tequila.

Heartbeats by Lady GaGa
Over the weekend we posted some photos of GaGa with Dr. Dre @ an electronics conference in Germany. Well, that's because GaGa is actually teaming up with the producer and releasing her own headphones called Heartbeats. The headphones will come in three designs (chrome, all black and jewel-shape earpiece) and is going to be available starting from October 2009. GaGa released this honest statement regarding her decision to release the product.
"In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things; I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion,” Lady Gaga said. “Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being, with one additional vow: that sound matters. Update: Shawne Merrimam & Tila Tequila Incident
According to CNN, deputies didn’t see any physical injuries on Nguyen [Tila's last name], but she asked to be transported to a local hospital, sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said. Nguyen’s condition was not immediately known.
Merriman’s attorney, Todd Macaluso, told reporters that Nguyen was “extremely intoxicated and inebriated” and that the player tried to make arrangements for her to leave the house.
“At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her. At no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will,” Macaluso said. “His intentions were nothing but good. … We’re very confident that this matter will be resolved without any charges being filed whatsoever.”
Meanwhile, Tila tweeted that there's no way she could be drunk considering that she's been allergic to alcohol for years.
Looks like this is about to get a lot uglier.

Kourtney & Baby Daddy Spend Time
Kourtney is getting very big, very quickly. She was spotted with her baby daddy (that's his official name since no one knows dude anyway). The two took in the beach and the waves. Kourntey sure does have that pregnant glow though.
