T.I. And Tiny Make it Official

A big congrats in order to T.I. and Tiny, who are officially Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Harris. TMZ has obtained their marriage record, dated today! According to TMZ, their marital record was just filed with the Miami Beach courthouse, and the two reportedly had a secret and private ceremony AT the courthouse. They were married by the Deputy Clerk.
I guess that "Got Your Back" song really applies now. Tiny has stuck by her man through a lot of rumours, a lot of drama and hard times. Happy for both of em!

Laurence Fishburne, Come Get Your Daughter

*fans herself* Lawd Jesus. What is the world coming to when Laurence Fisburne's 19-year-old daughter Montana wants to get down and dirty on camera? As in porn. As in paid to f*ck on film? Now, granted she's technically grown but it's still very random. Either way, Montana will star in a porn flick for Vivid Entertainment.
The folks at Carlton Jordan copped video of Montana with veteran porn star Brian Pumper, speaking about her desire to become a porn star. She says she'll be making movies with her porn-newbie boyfriend. What do we think of Morpheus's lil girl getting piped down in films?

Another Day, Another Foxy Brown Headline

She's been in the headlines all week, so of course, Foxy had to land in them again to end the week. Let's recap, this week Foxy arrested, pleaded not guilty to the allegations of violating a protective order her neighbour has on her, wore the above way-to-small outfit for her concert at BBKing's, returned to court to put a protective order on her neighbour and finally spoke about the whole ordeal on MTV.
Well, yesterday, according to TMZ, Foxy got into a fight with, not just one, but several people. Here's how TMZ is reporting it:

Witnesses say Foxy was visiting someone at a luxury high-rise on 43rd Street when the fight broke out. A source tells us that Foxy was throwing down with several people in the lobby. It’s unclear at this point what sparked the brawl.

We’re told it took more than 10 people to break up the fight, and the NYPD eventually showed up on the scene — but Foxy fled before the officers arrived. No arrests were made.

According to a source, one of the people Foxy fought with was her manager. When we called her manager she would only say, “No comment.”

If you're a friend or family member of Foxy's we, her fans, collectively beg you to get your girl some help. She's clearly going through it.

Drake Takes on Nardwuar

If you're not from Canada, you may not realize the important of Nardwuar, the Human Serviette. But let's just make a long story short but saying dude is one of Canada's most knowledgeable music lovers and an AMAZING interviewer. He always digs up old records that have some sort of link to the artist whom he is interviewing. He recently caught up with Drake in Vancouver and what ensued was probably one of Drake's interviews to date. Dude was down-to-earth, and obviously in awe of being interviewed by Nardwuar. Very very cute.

Nicki Minaj Goes British

Nicki Minaj recently spoke to MTV about the ending of her "Your Love" video, in which she tragically dies. Dressed in what appears to be an "Alice in Wonderland" getup, Nicki gets about half way through the interview before switching into a British accent. If it was someone else they would've gotten a side eye for sure, but with Nicki, I didn't even bat an eyelash. I actually think her accent is kinda on point. What do you think?

Kayne West Debuts New Material

Kanye West made a stop at Facebook headquarters the other day to debut some new material off his upcoming album. Mr. West hopped on top of a table, in a black suit, and performed four songs acapella, including “Mama’s Boyfriend,” “Lost in the World,” “Chain Heavy,” and “Sweat On My Face.

Foxy Brown In Court....Again...

*le sigh* After being arrested for an altercation with her neighbour (who already has an order of protection against her) and entering a non-guilty plea, Foxy Brown appeared in court once again yesterday. Well, at least she cleaned up from looking like a stinking mess the other night.
Foxy asked a Brooklyn judge for a protection order against the same neighbour who has a protection order against her. *another sigh* The judge, however, extended the protection order already in place against Foxy and told her just to walk away next time. Also, Foxy's lawyers, Bruce Barron Associates, dropped her as a client.
Her new lawyers still claim that she is the victim and her managers say that her neighbor is a stalker and Foxy is just trying to live her life.
Oh, did I mention that she showed up in a black Lamborghini? She emerged from her ride dressed in a teal dress, plunging neckline and heels. Her fans loved it, but Judge Geraldine Pickett couldn’t care less.

Brittany Murphy's Widower Cleaned Out Her Before His Death

According to PEOPLE magazine, Brittany Murphy’s widower Simon Monjack, who died just a few months after her, did some shady dealing in regards to her funds. Here's how PEOPLE is reporting it:

Six months after the 32-year-old actress’s death in December from pneumonia, anemia and multiple-drug intoxication, new allegations are surfacing about her controversial husband, the late British film producer Simon Monjack. Murphy’s former business manager Jeffrey Morgenroth tells PEOPLE that Monjack drained his deceased wife’s cash reserves by 80 percent before his own death from anemia and pneumonia in May.

As a result, Murphy’s mom Sharon, 57, is facing financial uncertainty, says Morgenroth. “There were huge amounts of money in [Brittany's] pension plan and bank account, and all of that’s gone,” says Morgenroth. “I would see it on the statements. There was money being withdrawn by Simon, hundreds of thousands.”

Beyond the financial disputes, Morgenroth also echoes reports from many of Murphy’s friends that Monjack maintained tight control over his wife. He recalls one incident in which Brittany needed to sign a tax form. “I went down to the deadline and delivered it personally, and I couldn’t even see Brittany,” says Morgenroth, who alleges that Monjack also cut off his wife’s cell phone. “Simon took [the form] from me. The excuse was her hair was messed up. I was at the front door and Brittany [called down] and said, ‘Hi Jeff, sorry I couldn’t see you, bye.’ It sounded fishy and weird.”

But for Sharon, who was extraordinarily close to her only daughter and son-in-law, such allegations are still hard to believe, says Morgenroth. “She’ll say, ‘I can’t talk about that now,’ ” says Morgenroth. “I’m trying to get her to understand that the bank account has this amount. She was looking at the pension statement and I said, ‘Look. There are almost no zeros there.’ She needs guidance on how to deal with things.”

I dunno about you, but I normally don't go clothes shopping in an extremely tight dress and hella high heels. Then again, my baby father didn't throw me into the headlines cause he got touchy feely with his assistant. Anywho, Christina Milian is in the spotlight right now, so I guess she might as well make the most of it. The singer was spotted with her daughter Violet and some friends getting ready to got the shops.

RiRi Lands Movie Role

It looks like those sexy and often futuristic outfits Rihanna wears on tour could've been for inspiration and research purposes. It turns out that RiRi will make her film debut in "Battleship", the Hasbro adaptation to be directed by Peter Berg.
The film takes place across the seas, over the skies and land in a battle for planet survival against a superior force. It's currently set for release on May 25, 2012. Rihanna's last movie was the direct-to-dvd film "Bring It On: All or Nothing."

Estelle Falls In Love (Twice)

The UK artist releases her TWO videos for the song "Fall In Love". One version features Nas and the other John Legend. I don't get why all of them couldn't just be in the same video, but whatever floats your boat, Estelle.
Aside from sporting some mean ass shoes in the video, Estelle plays out the typical girl-meets-boy and falls in love story. There's some flirting, some clumsy incidents and, of course, an interrupted kiss.

Lauryn Hill Continues Her Comeback Trail...

Maybe it's too early for me to call it a comeback yet, but F it. I'm throwing caution to the wind and keeping my fingers crossed that LBoogie is actually coming back for the long run. Internet reports do point out something interesting though. Lboogie has teased her fans with hopes of a comeback in the past via performances and such. Then she's disappeared again. Hopefully, this time is different. A day after her song "Reprecussions" leaked online, Lauryn was spotted in Rwanda performing. She looked super cute too! Check out two clips of her performance:

Jeff Chery Opens For Young Money

It's no secret that we love us some Jeff Chery. From his Going Against the Grain mix-album to his first hit underground single, MILF, CreamWorld blog has been documenting the young rapper's rise. Well, now Jeff is soaring to new heights. Recently, he opened up for the Young Money crew as they performed in Rex, GA. Jeff performed his singles Zone Out and Big Face Money before Young Money's Shanell, Lil Chuckee and Mack Maine took over the stage.
He left the crowd wondering, "What Is that?", which ironically is the name of his upcoming collabo with Lil Chuckee! Look for Jeff to continue his rise to the top.

What In The Tarzan and Jane Hell Is That?!?

Let me start this post out by saying *side eye, blank stare, chokes on her drink, faints*!!! What in the Tarzan and Jane is Foxy Brown wearing?!? Apparently Foxy hasn't realized she's put on a lil weight so she squeezed her ass and some of her boobs into a loin-cloth typa getup. Reports say that Foxy was greeted by hundreds of cheering fans as she hit the stage at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill over the weekend. “This is what we tell all the haters: You can’t keep a good b*tch down,” she said, laughing off her arrest. “We makes bail.” She rocked the crowd, performing hits “Candy” and “Get You Home.” Reggae artist Spragga Benz joined her onstage to perform “Oh Yeah.”
Glad to hear that she had a good performance but who lied to Foxy bout this outfit?? SMH. I can't stop staring...

Does This Mean Lauryn Hill is Back?!

A few months ago we reported that TMZ had video of Lauryn Hill hinting at a possible comeback. Then word got out at she would hit the Rock the Bells circuit this summer, and videos emerged of her performing in Santa Rosa. Well, now there's a new song that's giving fans hope of a new Lauryn album in the works. Speculation is that this a just a demo, but either way, it is new material. As a Lauryn Hill fanatic, my hopes are higher than ever.
The song admittedly isn't LBoogie's finest piece of art but it is petty damn amazing. Check it out:

More Baby Momma Drama for Swizzy

You already know about all the drama Swizz Beatz has gone through with his baby momma Mashona. He even lashed out at her at one point on video. Well, now there's more drama on Swizzy's horizon. In March we reported that a woman in Russia claimed Swizzy was the father of her daughter. That woman is back, with more accusations.
According to sources close to the woman, who lives out in the UK, he hasn’t been supporting his seed and STILL hasn’t signed the birth certificate despite a paternity test that proves the baby is his. Apparently, Swizzy paid a measly $1500 a month and skipped out on her birthday party after planning to throw it. Here are some excerpts of a letter sent to the blog I am...London Diva by a friend of Jahna Sebastian:

Hey London Diva,

Swizz Beatz might be busy getting ready for marriage and new baby with Alicia Keys, but he stopped paying child support to his only daughter with producer/singer Jahna Sebastian who resides in London. Paternity has been established via DNA test taken in August 2009 and Alicia Keys was present.
Jahna has maintained independent parental responsibility for two years trying to reach Swizz Beatz personally but received no response. She then sought attorney’s help and filed petition in July 2009. Swizz first time paid child support in September 2009 starting with $1500. In May Swizz did not attend his daughter’s birthday although he promised to through a Birthday Party. Two days later he was in London visiting his fiancé (Alicia Keys) who announced her pregnancy on 27th May when the same day he visited his daughter for three hours.
During the past year Jahna Sebastian and Swizz Beatz have been in and out of court but Swizz did not provide required information. They are going back into the court again very soon as Swizz is not behaving himself as a responsible father.

The 24-year-old single mother graduated from the Russian Music Academy and has been making ends meet working as a music producer, actress and singer. This isn't a very good look for Swizzy at all.

Diddy Being Sued By City of NY

New York City officials are investigating a number of residents including Sean “Diddy” Combs after they say they collectively owe the city an estimated $1.9 billion. Diddy's company, Bad Boy Entertainment, is facing legal action for illegally plastering posters around the city leaving them with a $996,000 bill that has reportedly yet to be paid.
According to the New York Daily News, Finance Commissioner David Frankel is fed up with Diddy and the several other people that account for the city's billion dollar debt. He tells the NYDN, "We are going to find these people. We're going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we're going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets."
A spokesman for Bad Boy has since described the bill as a "bureaucratic error", and tells the NYDN that it was “paid by a partner company three years ago but the city hasn't updated the record.” A city spokesman said lawyers are reviewing the issue.
Looks like "can't stop won't stop" finally got Diddy in some hot water. LoL.
