T.I. & Tiny's Drugs Were Ecstasy
As we reported yesterday, T.I. and hi wife Tiny were both arrested for drug possession (check out their mug shots above). We originally reported that there were some suspicious-looking cups in the car that T.I. was driving (he was pulled over for making an illegal u-turn). But it turns out that toxicologists have confirmed to TMZ, that pills found in the couple’s vehicle were Ecstasy.
This is bad new for T.I. who was recently released from a 7-month prison stint. But I have a feeling that pills will turn out to belong to someone else...wink wink, nudge nudge, if you catch my drift.
Lauryn Hill Talks Life & Possible Comeback...Sorta
Journalist and author Touré sat down with Lauryn Hill backstage at the Rock The Bells concert this past weekend. In the clip LBoogie speaks on why she's been away for so long, whether she's ready to make a comeback, and what she's looking for music-wise. She also breaks my heart by not confirming that there's an album in the works. *bottom lip waaaaay out*

T.I. Do You Just NOT Like Your Freedom?
So, T.I.'s been riding high off having the number one movie in America, despite being on probation after serving seven months in prison for weapons possessions. Well, maybe he was riding high off more than just like cause last night T.I. and his wife Tiny were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Here are pics of Tiny getting arrested and put into the back of the car: after police smelled marijuana during a traffic stop in L.A. According to the L.A. sheriff's department:
“Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A narcotics investigation ensued.” The couple was released on $10,000 bail each this morning. Geezum. Photos of Tiny being arrested make me sad. And she's looking back like, "where is my man"? Always down, eh Tiny? But seriously, does T.I. just NOT enjoy being free?
p.s. The latest in all this is that it may have possibly been sizzurp that was found in the car. This new photo shows styrofoam cups in the front and back cupholders. Cops aren't saying which controlled substance they found in the car, but it may have been Sizzurp ... aka codeine syrup.
Preggers Swag
Cee-Lo Green: F*ck You
How amazing is this track? If you haven't heard it, click play and let the sounds of a classic summer jam infiltrate you ears. Lol. If you have heard it, you'll gain a whole new appreciation for the song cause of the visual. Cee-Lo takes us through his journey of being unlucky in love from childhood to adulthood. It's a hilarious look at one boy's misfortune.
Rich Kidd: Take It Slow
Toronto rapper/producer Rich Kidd drops his visual for the single “Take It Slow”. Directed by David F. Mewa, the video features Rich Kidd narrating a tale of a deadly chick with some deadly cameos from eye candy to match. In true Tdot fashion there's also some sick dancing. Like people say, Rich Kidd IS Toronto.
p.s the beat goes hard, nah true?

Tiger's $54.5-million Pimp Pad
Well, now that's it's officially over between Tiger and Elin, Tiger is free to putt as many holes as he wants. That was my lame attempt at a golf sex joke. Anyways, Tiger Woods recently took out a $54.5 million mortgage for the mega-mansion he’s building on Florida’s exclusive Jupiter Island.
TMZ.com obtained legal documents filed in Martin County on August 27 — four days after Tiger finalized his divorce from Elin Nordegren — in which he lists himself as a “single man” and agrees to pay back the gargantuan loan by January 15, 2016. According to the docs, Tiger’s property spans across three parcels of land and will include a tennis court, oxygen therapy room, multiple pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
He better hope those endorsements start comin in again.
Red Head Takeover?
Magnum 357: Expos Fitted
Montreal rapper Magnum 357 drops his visual for the city's anthem "Expos Fitted." The track was produced by Dirt Work. The videos got a clean look to it with some eye candy sportin Expos gear, lotsa crew love and a few cameos for the next generation (super cute). And then comes the most EPIC cameo of all made by a throwback issue CreamWorld. I can't make this ish up! LoL. Love it!!!!

Drake to Drop New Album by Christmas?
Riding high of his success, Drake is currently pepping his Rhythm & Blues mixtape. But his album plans seem to be a lot bigger than a mixtape. Mack Maine tells MTV that we may see a new album from Aubrey by Christmas. New LP? Tha Carter IV? Young Money doesn't take a break, do they?
RiRi Gets Waxed
Madame Tussaud's wax museum in D.C. did a damn good job with this figure of Rihanna. The outfit, the hair, it's all on point. Rihanna actually donated the wax figure’s outfit, which she wore to a Balmain show in Paris last Fall. Although, the real Rihanna was not present to see the revealing, she got a sneak peak last week.
p.s. What in the heck is going on with RiRi's hair these days? I am NOT feeling it.
Zoe Saldana Gets Sexy for Calvin Klein
We told you last month that Zoe Saldana is the face of Calvin Klein and will appear in the company's ads, like the one above. Well, the behind-the-scenes from those ads has been released online and Ms. Saldana is looking proper! Zoe talks about how Calvin Klein products make her feel and how she stays looking as good as she does.
Exploring the Journey of Women in Hip-Hop
I remember being in my 3rd year of university and taking an online journalism course. One of our assignments was to create an online article, complete with links, images, media players, etc. I chose to write about females' journey in hip-hop. I started the article drawing an image of Lil Kim and then documenting the evolution from the UNITY days of Latifah and those before her to the breast and ass-baring days of Lil Kim and Foxy Brown.
This BET documentary "My Mic Sounds Nice: A Truth About Female in Hip-Hop" is my article, on film and it makes me smile. Well, not MY article, but the same idea....oh you know what I mean. It's a great expose of the struggles of women, the history and the speculation as to why female emcees appear to be a dying breed. Nicely done BET.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
If you have a plan for your financial future, stick to it, and if you don't then create one. Having a surefire plan for your retirement is the only way to relax when you are in your older years. On the flip side, if you are already at an age where you are concerned about your financial status, simply save 10 per cent of your income and invest in mutual funds. Before you pick one, do research and make sure the person who is responsible for the past success of the mutual fund still manages it.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Do not allow your insecurities to take precedence over your confidence. We all struggle from time to time with worry about romance, finance, health, friends and family. However, with faith it can easily be remedied. Believing in a better future will help to unfold a stronger foundation and present a positive destiny.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Being too laid back this week will get you in hot water with your future. Remain quick on your feet and witty with your responses so that nobody can say you're not doing what needs to be done. Also, those who need to see a certain amount of drive in you will consider you lazy if you are not on the ball. That is the last thing you need, especially if you are looking for a raise or a new position.
Cancer (June 21- July 22)
Closer to Sept. 4, friends, family and coworkers will enjoy your way of doing things. They may even reach out and invite you for a bite to eat or a drink on a patio before the summer comes to an end. If you have time, take them up on the offer because you will have a lovely time. Not only that, Cancer, you deserve it.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Your high ideas for future success are on point. If you do not stop or stumble on procrastination, you will prosper. Take time to smell the roses, but don’t lay in the grass too long or else, like Rip Van Wrinkle, you too will allow time to pass and some of your prosperity will be compromised.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Are you a business owner or thinking about becoming one? If yes then pay attention. This and next week, mark all your ideas down because some of them will bring you financial gain within three months. Other than that, Virgo, your love will be questioned this week. If you have the ability to express your emotions to somebody you care for then do so and do not worry about rejection.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Your logic runs deep. Use it as opposed to your emotions. Using your emotions over your keen sense of knowledge will only cause friction with somebody to whom you are close and the reconciliation will take long, causing the conflict difficult to mend.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio, do not look at what you have not attained in life. Instead, look at what you do you have. Be appreciative of even just one ounce of something instead of focusing on the two ounces you lost or have not achieved. Being content will get your further ahead of the game. Sulking will only increase misery.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
You have a lot to be pleased with. Fixate your energy on your goals and prevent the negative from seeping into your realm of thoughts. Your energy will be in high gear this week, so exercise and get in shape. It is one of the best ways to increase your serotonin level and enhance a healthy state of mind.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Your aura is shining, Capricorn, and folks can really see how much your personality shimmers. Add a little more zest to your shine by smiling and allowing the bad experiences to pass by without taking on the toll of the depressing circumstances.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
If you are overindulging on food, drinks, or simple pleasures that you are aware may cause a harmful effect, either cut down or completely eliminate them from your life.
Pisces (Feb 19 - March 20)
Assistance is on its way. Just keep on keeping on and you will get to your desired destination, within the time allotted for this experience. Every hardship has a time limit and this too shall pass.

Trey Songz: Can't Be Friends
Three things before I get into talking about the actual video. 1) I think this is the first time Trey Songz hasn't dropped a preview video. 2) Didn't he JUST release his video for "Bottoms Up" like yesterday? 3) Is anyone NOT using Anthony Mandler to direct their videos? Geeze. I know there's other directors out there.
Anyway, in true Anthony Mandler fashion, he has Trey Songz going crazy in the video. Surprise surprise. All of Anthony Mandler's videos seem to have some dark element and it's getting a tad bit old. Anyways, we see Trey act crazy, smack and throw chairs, you know, what people usually do when a jump off cuts em off. Oh yea, and there's a lot of jumping as well. *blank stare*
Lil Wayne's New Album Coming in 1 Month
Lil Wayne fans, rejoice! A little jail time is not gonna stop your favourite rapper from releasing music. Fans can expect new material from Weezy via a 10-song project called "I'm Not a Human." The album will be released digitally on Wayne's Birthday, Sept. 27. But that's not all, with Wayne's tentative release date from prison set for November 5th Young Money also wants to drop Carter IV that day and hold a welcome-home concert that night, which Wayne would headline. Here's what Mack Maine had to say:
"That's where we are aiming for now. I think the [Madison Square] Garden would be perfect. I wanna keep it Young Money. I think we can hold our own. As far as his set, it would be nice to have features and cameos on his set. As far as who opens for him, it'll be a no-brainer, Young Money could hold it down. Just have the big features on Wayne's set. He's gonna have a show, then go to the studio. I just had a birthday recently. I had four parties for my birthday. For him, it's no telling how that week would go, how that month would go. Five months [would go]. We're gonna party like when Frank came home in 'King of New York.' We're gonna go crazy."
Lauryn Hill Rocks The Bells with Friends
Lauryn Hill rocked the bells this weekend in NYC. Despite a few tweets that I saw about her strained voice (insert sad face), it seems that a lot of people enjoyed LBoogie's performance. She made the biggest splash by ending her set with "Fu-gee-la" and bringing out a host of celebs including: Mary J Blige, Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Chris Rock and John Legend. Before the celebs rolled out, Ms. Hill also brought to the stage her 6 children and told the crowd, "Now you know why I've been gone so long." awww! Nicely done Ms. Hill. Now get in the studio and grace us with an album!
Lauryn also took a quick minute to talk to MTV about why she decided to do Rock the Bells and how she feels about the celebrity support at the NYC show:
Dwayne Wade & Gabby Union...The New "It" Couple?
Well, it looks like Gabby Union is turning Dwayne Wade into her Hollywood arm candy. Now that the two are out as a couple, they've been spotted at quite a few events together. Yesterday, Gabby and Mr. Wade hit the Bridgehampton Polo Challenge Closing Ceremony rocking Ralph Lauren, as they kicked it with the horses. They then made their way over to a dinner party.
If media reports are correct, the way these two got together is much like Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz got together and Fantasia and Antoine Cooke got together: SHADY. So Ima reserve my judgement on what I think of this union for now. What do ya'll think? New It couple?
