A Few Performances...
Janet Jackson opened up the show with a medley of her hits. She lip synched, but it's all good. Is it just me or has Janet gotten thicker than a Snicker lately....?
Speaking of lip synching we're kinda, sorta wishing RiRi had. Oh RiRi, who told you this was a good idea? And furthermore what's with the proud grin at the end of the song like you knocked this out the ball park or something. Oh dear, I am perplexed by all this.
Another perplexing performance was Eminen. Towards the end of his set he launches into Forever and I'm thinking, "Well, isn't that just a clever way of bringing Drake out..." But then, the song ends and no Drake. Hm. Interesting.
And finally, the performance everyone was talking about. Not because it was amazing but because Jenny from the block busted her ass. She recovered very nicely though. Watch around the 3:00 minute mark. Even, Michelle Williams, who took a tumble at the BET Awards one year tweeted about JLo busting her ass. Bahahah. Fun times at the AMAs

I thought Rihanna had the best performance of the night. Why you guys hating on her? It was unique and she looks gorgeous
