We all remember this photo of Rihanna and her apparent boo boo. But now Matt Kemp's past seems to be unveiling itself and it's not all peachy. On the heels of Matt’s ex girlfriend Felisha announcing that Matt is lying about not abusing her, another shocking allegation has come out. In 2002, when he was still in high school and playing basketball, Matt and his basketball teammates were accused of raping a 19 year old woman during their high school All-Star b-ball tournament. According to a Sports Illustrated article from that time:
A 19-year-old woman filed a report with Columbus police on Sunday morning alleging Williams, 18, Alexander, 17, and Matthew Kemp, 17 forced her into sexual conduct at the Columbus Hyatt Hotel at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning while two other players watched. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made. However, Columbus police have questioned Williams and Alexander.
Matt and the players involved were suspended from the team during the investigation. The woman decided not to press charges, and the district attorney opted to not pursue the matter due to a lack of evidence. These seem like really, very serious allegations despite the alleged victim not pursuing the charges.
I am so disgusted I cant even fathom it. That's so wrong.

ReplyDeleteUmmm @RiRi's #1 Fan I feel like yu basically skimmed and not read, personally I love how when someone gets a little piece of fame everybody is always coming out the wood work to either discredit or get a likkle piece of shine too its sort of ridiculous and this is why being famous frightens me a little bit because its like ppl cant be able to accomplish anything without someone doing something to them
ReplyDeleteTo the person who said I "skimmed" the article. That's Sports Illustrated article was published AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. The woman didn't come forward now. She came forward WHEN IT HAPPENED. Who's skimming now?
