Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief


A-Listers are coming out in huge numbers for Jan 22's “Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief”. The two-hour telethon has been organized by George Clooney and will actually take place simultaneously in 3 major cities while airing on 17 networks. Alicia Keys, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J Blige and Taylor Swift have all signed on to perform.
The telethon will be an international event as London has also been added to the lineup. Jay-Z, Bono, The Edge and Rihanna will
Haitian native Wyclef Jean will anchor the show from New York, while George Clooney will do so from Los Angeles. CNN’s Anderson Cooper will report from Haiti! Proceeds from the two-hour Hope for Haiti Now event will benefit The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, United Nations World Food Programme, Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF and Yele Haiti.
