Usher: Hey Daddy

A few weeks after dropping a very low budget looking video for his song "More", Usher has released his latest video for "Hey Daddy". And, although anything would be a step up from "More" this video is pretty cool. I mean, it's nothing crazy as far as concept goes, but it's nicely directed. Usher gets his rehearsal on, flirts with the dancers, takes a few meetings, all while his wifey is waiting at home. She gets some jewelry, we all awww and Usher comes home. Why? Cause the song tells him too. The end.

R.I.P. Jasmina Anema

Back in November we blogged about Rihanna surprising her littlest fan, Jasmina Anema. The 7-year-old had leukemia and Rihanna had been trying to help find a bone marrow transplant for her. We are sad to report that Jasmina lost her battle with leukemia last night. The little girl was also a big fan of Kelly Rowland, who posted this message on her Twitter:

At 10:55 on January 27th, after a long battle, Jasmina lost her fight with leukemia. Thanks for all of your support.

Our prayers go out to Jasmina's family at this difficult time.

Shar Jackson's Look-A-Like

That's Shar Jackson, remember her from Moesha? And that little girl beside her is Shar's 14-year-old daughter Cassie. It's cute that they're bonding at Sundance, but ummm were they TRYING to look like twins? Is this Shar's way of showing directors she can be cast in young roles? I better stop.

Who Said Ciara Wasn't a Diva?

Well, well, well. It looks like Ciara is still trying to claim a place among the Beyonces and Mariah Careys of the world. Apparently CiCi showed up at the Givenchy haute couture show in Paris yesterdat 40 minutes late. Keep in mind that a show typically lasts 10 to 15 minutes. But, since Ciara is said to be “the muse” of the line, the designers and show producers purposely held the show for her arrival. Photogs on the red carpet boo’d her because, aside from showing up late, she but didn’t allot much time for photo-taking. Ciara reportedly apologized for her delay and took her seat front row. Tisk tisk* Someone needs to be reminded of her last record sales.

Ye and Amber Lose The Fur

So when they lose the full-length fur coats and Amber puts away her "medieval"/ "showercap" dress, they actually look pretty great. Amber and Ye were spotted at a few Paris Fashion Week show looking all dapper-like. The last photo of the kiss actually deserves an awwww.

Can Dr. Dre and The Game Save Ashanti's career?

Recently Ashanti has been tweeting about her studio sessions and last night she actually TwitPic'd a photo of herself, The Game and Dr. Dre in the lab. At this point though, I don't know that even they can save her career. When is the last time Ashanti put out a hit? I guess we'll see though. Either way, SHE looks hella excited. LoL.

Lil Wayne & Shawty Lo Onset

Lil Wayne is puttin in work before he goes in for a year! He was on the set of Shawty Lo's video for the song "WTF". A bunch of other rappers no one cares about were there too. But yeah, all you Lil Wayne (and um Shawty Lo) fans, here ya go.

Fashion Forward or Fashion Fail: Amber Rose Edition

Did Kanye West make Amber wear this as a joke?? That could be the only logical explanation as to why she stepped out of the house (or hotel, whatever) looking like she borrowed Joan of Arc's or a swimmer's headgear. Her body is banging, no doubt about that. But ladies, people do not attempt this shower cap look at the club. You WILL look a fool.
